In wikipedia is writen that number of commanders was limited to 20. I don't want to believe that. There are more pieces on the market and the price would have to be much higher. Does anyone have information on how many were actually awarded?

It is pitty.
At least I know now what is it . But still a lot of opened questions remain.
- period when medals were awarded
- classes? Now we know that bronze and silver. Maybe gilt?
- how many pieces was awarded?
- who produced it?
- my medal has inscription CAIRO. Were other inscriptions too? Other places?
Etc. etc.
Maybe some search in archives would help.

I have this medal which I am not able to identify. Judging from type of suspension I think it could be Italian medal. Can you help me? I am also not sure if the ribbon is correct.
