Unknown medal case, Croce dei ss. Maurizio e Lazzaro

Dear all,

Does anyone have an idea for which medal is below case (case is quite small: 11.5 cm by 10 cm.).
There is place for a “main” medal which has a width of 4.5 cm. (corner to corner)
A pin for non militare wear.
A miniature.

My initial guess was for a Cavaliere of the Ordine dei Santi Maurizio e Lazzaro, but I am unsure if the medal will fit.
I guess this medal due to the color of the case and the shape of the positions for the medals.

If someone has an idea, please let me know.

Can anyone measure the size of a Cavaliere of the Ordine dei Santi Maurizio e Lazzaro?
Then we can see if it fits.
