Hello Leicester74 , thanks for your reply ..yes its in very nice original condition with a nice patina , also i have since getting it found the correct carring strap for it .
I looked first in Italy & the USA but nothing was available except in collections until by some remarkable luck & help from a contact friend in Italy who put me on to a collector in Britain who knew of a example for sale , which amazingly turned out to be here in Britain !!..so a deal was struck & here it is.. :)

Hi Semovente,
this one was mine many years ago, but I sold it to a friend with the car on which it rest.

Breda_30_0

Have you solved the question of the quantity produced?

Hello Kanister my friend , wow a very nice example you had by the looks of it , can i ask why the red band on the flash hider ?
I have looked in many reference books , web sites & spoke to other collectors & it seems that they all quote a figure of 30,000 made...so ??
Iam looking for the Ammo back pack , Kanister do you know of any about ?

CITAZIONE (Semovente @ 31/8/2020, 20:30)

It's the so called "tappo rosso" or red cap that the Italian law forces to apply to deactivated guns.

Sorry but I don't know were to buy a ammo back pack: perhaps at some gun fair, but you are not in Italy.
