Good Evening Gents..I would like to share with you my two Lybian Colonial badges from the North Africa campaign, the one badge is numbered 141st Cantanzaro regt !..I have never seen another one like it since I got this example !

Esiste anche il fregio con il numero 142. Però sono fregi di fanteria coloniale, mentre la Catanzaro non lo era. Io ritengo che siano relativi ad altri reparti, anche se non so con certezza quali.

These have turned up since originally posting this !..a nice 141 with rosette!
There appears also to be a 142 on a Lybian headdress ?

Montare questi badges sul copricapo dei soldati libici è la cosa che viene più spontanea. Ma non sono mai esistiti (per quallo che so io) reparti libici con i numeri 141 e 142.

Fitting these badges on the headdress of Libyan soldiers is the thing that comes most spontaneously. But there have never been (as far as I know) Libyan units with numbers 141 and 142.

Ciao Ghebret ...yes I doubt aswell it's originality !...but the badge is more interesting to me as it is another similar but numbered 142 !?...thanks from Ed

Sure, both 141 and 142 do exist, as I have already said some month ago.
